Steadman's Butchers - Cooked Meats and Pies

At Steadmans we pride ourselves on our innovative and creative approach to developing high quality products and dishes to tempt the taste buds of our friends and customers.

In our Modern Preparation room our Baker prepares our Pies, Pasties and Sausage Rolls which are freshly baked every morning. Our Home Made Pork Pies are chilled for cold eating and the other Pies, Pasties and Sausage Rolls are available for sale piping hot, fresh from the oven.

Large Cold Eating Pies such as Game, Grosvenor, Pork and Apple, Turkey and Ham and a variety of tasty Quiches and Scotch Eggs are always tempting. We produce a large selection of Large and Family size Pies which we bake to order or sell Frozen, ready to bake.

Our Traditional Baked Black Pudding comes from an old fashioned recipe with a few added improvements and is sought after by connoisseurs from all parts of the country. It has won awards both Nationally and Internationally .Specialities

Cooked Meats are produced on the premises. Succulent Tasty Hams, Tongues, Roast Pork, Turkey Breast, Crunchy Belly Pork, Tasty Barbecued Chickens are freshly cut to our customer's requirements. We are currently experimenting at producing 'Pastrami' which is excellent in sandwiches.

Our newly appointed Chef produces delicious Pates, Terrines and also a selection of high quality, tasty, budget priced, ready prepared meals which are sold in microwaveable cartons either chilled or frozen.

Larger amounts of our cooked products and ready cooked meals are available at special rates for caterers, parties, functions etc and we would be only too pleased to help.

As members of North West Fine Foods we are committed to selling or serving more regional produce.

We operate a full HACCP System to ensure food safety and to protect our Customer's from food related hazards.

We were recently awarded five stars on our annual inspection by South Lakeland District Council Environmental Health Officer and we were given three AAA's by EFSIS on our Annual Guild of Q Butchers Inspection.

Preheat oven to 180C ( 350 F ) Gas mark 4 Brush
Pastry with egg or milk and bake for approx. 50
Minutes (Ovens vary) so consult manufacturers' recommendations.
