Steadman's Butchers - Free Range Pork

Pork is our specialty! Free Range Pork is sourced from Lakes and Dales Born and Bred at Tebay. It is bred and reared to produce healthy and happy pigs which are outstanding in flavour and tenderness.. A locally sourced product which is second to none and enables us to have an extensive range of high quality pork products including, a range of over 100 unique sausages and Home Cured Hams and Bacons.It is available from Steadmans of Sedbergh where it is expertly cut and prepared for the usual joints, chops etc. It is also used for our famous Award Winning Sausages.

The pork is also used for pies and cooked products that are prepared on our premises, and also for some of the new Microwave-able 'Ready Meals' which are we are now producing.

Further products derived from our pork are the very popular, Garsdale Gold, Dry Cured Hams and Bacon which are cured by us. We produce Middle Cut, Streaky, Sweet-Cured Back, Gammon Rashers and Joints which are also available smoked. We have also developed an Air Dried 'Palma' style Ham and Pancetta, which are proving to be very popular.

Also produced from the pork are high quality, innovative, creatively prepared products from simple burgers to marinated steaks and stuffed joints etc.

Larger amounts of the Pork are available for caterers and home freezers at special rates.
